Many people hate shopping. Me, well I have mixed feelings. Yes, I do love shopping, but at the same time, I hate spending all of the money that I do. This is why I have started this blog... to help others learn about saving money (and lots of it) while shopping. I have to say, my favorite part of shopping is looking at the bottom of my receipt to see the amount of money that I SAVED. Lately, my savings have been adding up to more than the money that I spent!

Here is a little bit of advice on how to save the most money:

  • Always try to go shopping when there are the biggest sales-- No need to go shopping at the end of June, when you can just wait until the 4th of July sales, about a week later-- you will see the greater savings occur then

  • Coupons-- are a shoppers best friend! Do you have your day planned out? What stores you want to go to? Well then, go onto their website and look for coupons!! (For those crafty people, Joann Fabrics always has printable coupons online!)

  • Newspaper-- All you have to do is order the Sunday paper. This will reduce the cost of getting the paper every other day or even just twice a week. The newspaper on Sundays is the newspaper that contains the most coupons, which in return allows you to save money-- more money per year then what you spent on getting that paper!
  • Just because you got a coupon doesn't mean you have to buy that product! Sometimes, saving money may even involve the simple question of, "Do I really need this product?" If the answer is no, well, you have just saved your self money.
